april fools pranks

It is difficult to determine exactly when Tim Wiedman began to deteriorate on the concept of an April Fool's jokes in the office. E 'was shortly after his hair had been burned.

April fools pranks

Wiedman was an assistant in a fast-food joint, at the time, and wear one of those hats with tissue paper. His colleague Rick thought it would be a riot - and a tribute to an April Fool - by hiding behind his companion, and put his hat on fire.

Rather than creating a slow-burning, however, the manager's hat gag is as a bonfire on the Fourth of July. "He had to withdraw, throw on the ground and smother the flames, " recalls Wiedman, now a professor of Commerce in Lincoln, Nebraska. "I sang, and for several weeks, it seemed that I wa going bald. cherry blossom festival

The National

Cherry Blossom Festival

begins today in Washington, DC, making me nostalgic for the city, I called home for years. He is one of the best year in our nation's capital that the pink and white flowers adorn the banks of the Potomac around monuments and palaces of power. This year is even more beautiful that the festival is used to remind and help the people of Japan following the recent earthquake and tsunami.

What both have in common? A bit 'of history in which historical knowledge is hazy - In 1912, Japan provided the United States 3,000 cherry trees that have stood as a symbol of friendship between our two countries since then. In return, we gave them dogwood trees. The first festival to celebrate the trees took place in 1935, and today has become a celebration of two weeks filled with lots of events and festivities.

3, 1, 2.

Three simple numbers that create a certain madness in March.

However, the madness sweeping Detroit and beyond today has nothing to do with basketball. It is male.

The estimated jackpot for the Mega Millions tonight is $ 312,000,000.

Some of the people under arrest just to play maybe once or twice a year.

"There are people who say they can not play if not more than 200 million euro, 100 million dollars is not enough money for them. "

According to the Michigan Lottery, there were five people in Michigan who won $ 250,000 in Mega Millions drawing Tuesday night.

calcium

Scans heart of football could help people reduce their blood pressure and cholesterol, according to a new study testing a controversial X-ray.

This lack of encouraging data have led some experts to fear that the computed tomography (CT) - a type of high-dose X-rays, which include analysis of calcium - might do more harm than good.

"It would be good if it leads to a better quality of life and live longer, but we do not know, " says Redberg, who did not participate in the study.
In fact, the number of heart attacks and deaths was slightly higher in the group that scans the football, although this may be due to chance.

"Of course, I do not recommend getting a scan when there was no evidence of better clinical activities, "

Well. then, CT scan isn't good at all for our health, it can even activated the cancer cell that should not be active,
it can also harm our DNA

Perhaps it is logical that in the first season with a 68-team field, one of the last four at large selections for the field has evolved Sweet 16.

This is a

, inter alia, that includes many teams like West Mountain - two - from the Big East.

Virginia Commonwealth was one of the last four at large selections and had to join a game in play for a seed No 11 in the south-west. Sunday, the Rams went to the Sweet 16 from steamroller another opponent at the Conference. Sunday's

"Big Love"

finale began with a change: its theme song, the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows," was re-recorded by the Dixie Chicks' Natalie Maines. The choice to have the song sung by a woman -- with the iconic lyrics, God only knows what I'd be without you -- became particularly poignant as the events unfolded.

Spoiler alert: After a surprisingly successful launch of a new church, Bill Hendrickson is shot and killed by a disgruntled neighbor. The family that he leaves behind is in a state of transition, as Barb seeks female empowerment, Margene considers a long trip to South Africa, and Nicki clings to the roots of tradition.

As so often happens on television, the death is followed by a celebration of life: Sarah and Scott's baby is christened in Bill's church. "It breaks my heart that Bill can't see this," Margene says, sporting a new look and, more importantly, a new outlook. We then cut to a touching shot of Bill, watching from his usual place at the kitchen table.

What did you think of the sister wives being left husbandless in the final scenes of "Big Love"? Weigh in below on the series finale.

jalen rose

Making any blanket statements about matters of race is generally a bad idea, particularly for a public figure.

ESPN analyst Jalen Rose proved this again while revealing his contempt for the Duke men’s basketball program in ESPN’s documentary about the Fab Five, Michigan’s famed 1991 freshman basketball class of which Rose was a part. In the movie he produced, which premieres Sunday, Rose said he believed the only African American players Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski recruited were “Uncle Toms.”

In discussing the movie since its production, Rose explained his thinking has changed with maturity, but he seemed to hold firm to his flawed belief that the experiences of some African Americans are “more black” than those of others. The premise, misguided as it is, asserts that academic achievement, professional accomplishment and affluence somehow reduces or eliminates a person’s “blackness.”

Rose isn’t the first to express such thoughts. There has been a long, ongoing debate among black folk about the issues he raised.

At least one person was killed and there were reports of several injuries in Tokyo, hundreds of kilometers away, where buildings shook violently through the main quake and the wave of massive aftershocks that followed.

TV footage showed waves of muddy waters sweeping over farmland near the city of Sendai, carrying buildings, some on fire, inland as cars attempted to drive away.

"This is a rare major quake, and damages could quickly rise by the minute," said Junichi Sawada, an official with Japan's Fire and Disaster Management Agency.

syracuse basketball

I’m going to make this short and sweet: Rick Jackson got screwed out of making the All-Big East First Team.

It’s that simple.

syracuse basketball

Ironically enough, this week also marks the fifth anniversary of the “overrated” Gerry McNamara run to a Big East Tournament title.

McNamara was voted by Big East assistant coaches and players in two separate 2006 polls as the most overrated player in the conference, which led to this memorable tirade by Jim Boeheim.

That led to a remarkable run at Madison Square Garden, as McNamara and the Orange became the first team in Big East history to win four straight games in the conference tournament.

I hope something similar happens this weekend with Jackson.

How can you leave this guy off your first team?

All he did this season was lead the league in rebounds (10.7), field goal percentage (.595) and blocked shots (2.5).

Jackson scored 13 points per game and is the only player in the conference this year to average a double-double.

To not reward this guy for an unbelievable season is ridiculous.

Jackson has been durable throughout his four-year career, playing at least 35 games a season and increasing his numbers each season in the process.

I will not lie. Between us, my husband and I attach some serious time on Facebook. I take a step forward and say that yes, I've been on Facebook for my daughter tugs my hand to come to read him a story and are quite "One second. Just another second."

Facebook has sucked so much of our time that we realize even more. Your page is cluttered with "friends" who do not want to stay in contact with it are not at ease on Facebook. Some of these people you've met him once or twice and for some reason, my friend asked me.

Today is your defriend case, simplify, and spend more time with your children. The less "friends" you have the less time you spend being sucked into the void, you know?

Blame defriend day!

This ex-boyfriend that really made a friend request then you have accepted because he wanted to be the tallest person? He cut the team!

This high school girl who has never been boring your friend, but later became friends for reasons unknown to you? DELETE!

It's not that feel better?

Now, instead of checking Facebook for the twentieth time, you read your child a story. Feeling better is

We've heard of recalls due to defects in electronic refinancing problems and engine problems - but the spiders?

This is a reminder of 65,000 odd new cars from Mazda yesterday. The notice was sent to owners of lines of the Mazda6, the automaker says is at risk of contamination by the yellow spider bag. Why, you ask? In fact, the yellow bag, like any other American citizen, like gasoline - especially the smell, which attracts the little spider to build its nest.

"If it is a very rare feature that makes this spider is that, like the smell of gasoline, caused by the oxidation of hydrogen," said Mitsuhiro Kunisawa, automotive journalist. "Once the smell of petrol outside, go inside. United States, is a relatively common type of spider. "

Unfortunately, it is a spider bite with painful consequences, with flesh wounds are often confused with the more toxic Brown Recluse.

In addition, the yellow bag is trying to screw up at the pump. According to Mazda, network systems could lead to cracks emission fuel tanks and leaks. The Mazda 6 is the model in question only because of its emissions of two tubes in the back, which apparently attracts addicts little fuel for your car.
