Awkward Season 3
The wait is finally over Awkward. fans! Jenna (Ashley Rickards) listened to her heart and chose SPOILER her first love Matty (Beau Mirchoff) over Jake (Brett Davern) in last night’s season two finale. Her head (and inner dancing queen) wasn’t too happy with the decision. Now that the love triangle has dissolved, what does it mean for the series at large? Cam Newton
This was Cam Newton's first NFL prime-time game. Like the rest of his team, he wasn't ready.
Newton didn't make great decisions at times with his zone-read options. He was inaccurate on a few passes and wasn't able to get anything going on the ground. He threw three interceptions, although the game was well decided by the time he threw two of them.
"It was nothing that they did," Newton said Thursday night after his Carolina Panthers' 36-7 loss to the New York Giants. "It was all on us."
We disagree. The Giants were far tougher than the Panthers up front on both sides of the ball. It might be awhile before we see Cam struggle this much in prime time again.

iPhone 5
Apple Inc. officially launched the latest generation of smart phones iPhone, iPhone5. The advantages of this new generation is on the thinner shape and speed of processing that claimed more amazing.
Compared with iphone4s, with a thickness of 7.6 millimeters, thinner iPhone5 18 percent. The new model weighs only 112 grams, much lighter than the original 140 grams. iPhone5 extend 8.6 millimeter screen so that a more elegant look.
Matter of intelligence, network and processor that consumes more yahud. LTE networks make faster data connections almost eight-fold. New A6 chip is able to process data faster than the brain doubled iPhone 4S.
However, Apple claims iPhone5 not wasteful batteries. Battery life could be eight hours for the connection and eight hours of talk time and 10 hours for video playback.
"iPhone 5 is the most advanced phone we've ever created," said Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President for Worldwide Marketing, in San Francisco.
According to Schiller, the iPhone 5 will go on sale on 21 September 2012 with prices starting at U.S. $ 699 for the 16 GB model, U.S. $ 799 model 32 GB, and $ 899 for 64 GB. Service provider is not yet clear what will be towed Apple for bundling with the iPhone 5.

Wrap-up: Broncos 31, Steelers 19
As these teams felt each other out early, it was apparent the Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to bludgeon the soft interior of the Denver Broncos defense with the power running game. But as the game went on, Pittsburgh went more no-huddle and put the game on Ben Roethlisberger, who played a great game despite taking a beating -- right up until the pick-six he threw to Tracy Porter seal the game in Denver’s favor.
The Steelers lost Marcus Gilbert in the second quarter, forcing rookie Mike Adams into an unfamiliar role at right tackle -- often facing Von Miller on passing downs. Adams got help on most of these instances, but that left Max Starks alone against Elvis Dumervil. Later in the game, Ramon Foster was sidelined with an eye injury, leaving the Steelers without any reserve offensive linemen. False starts were a huge problem for this line. But the Steelers offense was effective enough to keep the Denver offense off the field through the middle of the game.
Roethlisberger made quite a few vintage Roethlisberger plays by shrugging off pass-rushers and making impromptu plays with his legs and big arm. He really had to work hard for everything the Steelers offense got. But Pittsburgh took very few shots deep downfield -- probably because of protection concerns -- even with Mike Wallace now on board. The Steelers did incorporate Heath Miller more than in recent memory, and Miller could be their best red zone weapon. He came up big, time and time again. But that wasn’t enough on this night.
Peyton Manning's anticipation as a passer is as fantastic as ever. It took Denver too long to go to its no-huddle attack, where Manning thrives and controls the pace of the game, but in the end it didn’t matter. Dick LeBeau dialed up a wide variety of blitzes and got noticeable pressure on Manning early, which is extremely difficult to do. But Manning also appeared to adeptly read where Troy Polamalu lined up and based his play call accordingly, often effectively audibling to a run play when the Steelers’ star safety was aligned deep.
In the third quarter when Manning finally did see the field after nearly an hour of real time rest, he quickly hit Demaryius Thomas on a quick-hitting route, which Thomas took 71yards to the house. An easy throw, but Manning did recognize that the defense was prone to such a play call and acted accordingly. That was the single biggest play of the game.
This was a masterful performance from Manning with his ability to consistently have his team in the right call for the given defense and situation. As the game went on, the future Hall of Famer grew stronger. Manning won this game with his mind.

Morgan Freeman
Do not be fooled, the voices, Morgan Freeman is alive and well, and certainly not to say 50 Shades of Grey.
Freeman has always been a popular candidate on the ticket was fake death, and Twitter and Facebook, claiming the actor passed, passed the message on the Internet to the agenda.
"Morgan is alive and well, and joins the long list of actors who have been victims of this scam," said a spokesman for Freeman.
This is not the first time he was killed Thesp from the Internet. Two years ago, the Twitterverse lit up with rumors of his untimely death, which obviously proved false.

Frank Ocean's name has been plastered across headlines for the past few weeks thanks to the debut of his Channel Orange album and the sexual revelation that preceded it, but Thursday night (September 6) at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, that all seemed like the distant past during his serene performance.
The setting was that of a backyard fire, although the giant, "Lost"-like crystals obscured any sense of time and place. No matter, as the closeups were all on Ocean, and as he shifted from graceful singing to wavering falsetto, it was never less than riveting.

After a few Speedweeks largely unaffected by weather, day Daytona 500 race Sunday upwith dire predictions of precipitation race time.

Forecasters call for a 70 percent chance of rain in the Daytona Beach area this afternoon, and most forecasts call for precipitation at or about 1:15 pm scheduled (ET)hour start of the race.
Daytona International Speedway has lights, so the race could be launched within hours of the evening, but the forecast tonight calls for a 50 percent chance of rain.The race’s rain date is Monday, when the forecast includes a 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms.
Although the 500 has been shortened by rain and the start has been delayed over the years, it has never been postponed beyond its scheduled day.

NBA All-Star Weekend 2012 is booming after the Friday night's "Celebrity All-Star and Rising Star Challenge". The Sprint-sponsored celebrity game saw the usual antics and clowning around, along with one sweet Kevin Hart ally-oop to rapper J. Cole!

These games feature plenty of turnovers and bricks, but at times some highlight-worthy plays. An ally-oop pass from comedian Hart to J. Cole for a two-handed dunk. He also had a block towards the final buzzer on fellow rap star Common.
As for Kevin Hart, he and Cole were on the winning team. However, Hart blew a fuse late in the game, getting a technical foul from the ref and then ejected for arguing it. That's rare for a celebrity game, but all in good fun. but then He apologized profusely to his coach Dwight Howard for the incident which provided late comic relief for the game.

Whitney Houston Dead
Whitney Houston, pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, died Saturday. February 11, 2012
She was 48.
Beverly Hills police, Lt. Mark Rosen told reporters outside the Beverly Hilton that Houston was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m. in her room on the fourth floor of the hotel. Her body remained there and Beverly Hills' detectives were investigating.
"There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent at this time," Rosen said.
Houston's publicist, Kristen Foster, said the cause of her death was still unknown.
The investigation is currently being conducted and there is no additional information at this time.
"The actual cause of death will be determined by the L.A. Co. Coroner's Office,"
