japan earthquake today

Honhsu,

Japan earthquake today

did not create a tsunami. Honhsu Japan, and specifically Sendai, Morioka, and Fukushima, were struck by a 7.2 earthquake today. Shaking was felt as far as Tokyo.

The quake struck shortly before noon local time Wednesday. Registering only nine miles below the earth’s surface, the earthquake struck roughly one hundred miles from Sendai, one hundred twenty-two miles from Morioka. It was approximately one hundred thirty miles from Fukushima and two hundred fifty miles from Tokyo.

Japan are often hit by earthquake, there should be no problem with house or building, the buildings should have been able to stand still I think.
