trevor bayne

In only his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race (Feb, 20), Trevor Bayne won a caution-plagued 2011 Daytona 500. At 20 years

The 2011 Daytona 500 race was a wild and crazy race full of all types of accidents. There were so many yellow flags, it seemed we were watching replays of accidents more than actually watching the race. There was actually a record number of crashes for the Daytona 500. The track is very fast because it has new pavement. Dale Earnhardt Jr, one of the most popular racers, who has a ton of fans, was out of the race during one of the last laps due to an accident. The winner of the race though, a relatively unknown driver, Trevor Bayne, is only 20 years old. He was so excited, he couldn’t find victory lane, but it’s okay he’s learning. What an experience for this young man. While many fans and his fellow drivers while be celebrating with a cold beer, young Trevor is still too young, just turning 20 two days ago.
