colin firth oscar acceptance speech

There was no stuttering with Colin Firth in his acceptance speech for best actor Oscar.

Firth, 50, won for his portrayal of King George VI phenomenal that has struggled to overcome the horrible stuttering. George is finally victorious, and delivers a speech inspired by Great Britain at the dawn of World War II.

Sunday evening, Firth was no less eloquent - adding a dash of humor and humility.

"I feel that my career has peaked, impassive when he hit the scene. Then he went on.

"I'm afraid I must warn you that I feel tremors in some part of the upper abdomen, which may occur in dance movements. That, joyful, as they can for me will be very problematic if they do it in my legs before going off stage. "

He also thanked his wife Livia for putting up with my fleeting illusions of royalty and what they are responsible for this and really a good thing that has happened since I met her. "
