NFC Payment

In a press conference at Mobile World Congress today, Deutsche Telekom - German subsidiary T-Mobile parent in the world - says it will roll out in the NFC mobile payment system in some markets beginning this year with full deployment in 2012.

T-Mobile USA will be included in action through initiatives of Isis, which was announced in late 2010 in partnership with AT & T and Verizon, but here is where it will be very interesting: DT executives apparently abandoned the name Apple for the launch of live events 2011. Of course, there are plenty of rumors that the next generation iPhone includes a number of ways NFC capabilities and, of course, it seems that the approval by Apple works wonders in taking the technology to a new level of consumer acceptance. Follow the rest full press release - do not mention Apple, pull, so it is very likely that this is a slip-up executive. More on this as we have it.
