bill erwin
William Lindsey "Bill" Erwin (December 2, 1914 - December 29, 2010) was an American television, film and stage actor. He has more than 250 television shows and films to his credit. Erwin won a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, four Drama-Logue, Gilmore Brown Award for Lifetime Achievement Award, Diamond Award Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters Circle and the Alumnus Angelo State University. He lived in North Hollywood and had two daughters, two son and seven grandchildren.
According to Hollywood Reporter, died from causes related to age.
Erwin, an Emmy nod for playing the character of Sid on the field of "Seinfeld, " has also been known to play Arthur Bellman in the movie "Somewhere In Time"in 1980. The film is a romantic drama, Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve played. He also appeared in several television commercials.
In addition to a film actor, Erwin was also a stage actor. He worked on Broadway, Laguna Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills. He left his sister, Mary Gene Cosper, four son, Mike, Tim, Lindsey and Kelly, and eight grandchildren.
