Shuttle Launch

Hours before the space shuttle Endeavour is set to take off for its last flight, NASA tweeted an impressive picture of the space shuttle on the launch pad in the middle of a storm.

Lightning can be seen around the Endeavour waiting on the launch pad.

Photo from NASA wrote: "The space shuttle Endeavour on Launch Pad 39A sitting like a storm passed prior to the rollback of the Rotating Service Structure, Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida Endeavour launches on mission STS-134 Friday, April 29th at 3:47 EDT. During the 14-day mission, Endeavour and the STS-134 crew will deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer and spare parts including two communications antennae S-band, high-pressure gas cylinder. "
