A Powerball ticket worth $ 221,700,000 were sold to CIRKLE K Convenience Store at 820 East Boulevard. Clarksville, a Hoosier Lottery spokesman confirmed Thursday morning.

The ticket was purchased between Sunday morning and 9:49 Wednesday and was set on Wednesday night.

Referring to the sale of the winning ticket from the shop where he often shops, Michael DeJaynes, 27, said: "I think it's great. I wish that was me."

He often buys lottery tickets at the store, "said DeJaynes, who lives nearby, but not a buy for the latest Powerball.

Beulah Ryan, 74, who was also shopping at the Circle K that sold the winning ticket, said he bought two tickets Powerball this week, but not a winner.
