Endeavor

NASA Space Shuttle Endeavor do a "victory lap" of how the shuttle ended with a low level of release in the morning Bay area Friday, September 21, 2012,before display a museum of Los Angeles.

September 21, 2012 , the space shuttle Endeavour completed its final transfer flight, landing in Los Angeles, California, after leaving the Edwards Air Force Base this morning. The shuttle is now in preparation for its journey through the streets of Los Angeles (at the price of 400+ trees). The final resting place at the California Science Center, publicly display from October 30 to go. Endeavor has spent over 296 days in space more than 25 missions, consisting of 4,671 orbits, in addition to more than 197 million miles of travel. Slashdot's own Kaushik Acharya was the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles for the issue and provided very nice photos of the passage of Endeavor.
